Lifeguard Kenya Programs
Lifeguard Kenya is a community-based organization dedicated to protecting children, supporting survivors, and promoting safe communities through the following programs:
1. Child Protection
We work to safeguard children from all forms of abuse, neglect, exploitation, trafficking, and violence. We provide rescue services, case management, referrals, advocacy, and support to ensure the safety and well-being of children.
2. Digital and Online Child Protection
We create awareness about online safety and protect children from cyberbullying, online grooming, sexual exploitation, trafficking, and other digital risks. We educate children, parents, teachers, and communities on responsible and safe use of the internet and social media platforms.
3. Paralegal Services
We provide legal guidance and support to vulnerable children, survivors of gender-based violence, and community members. We assist with reporting cases, accessing justice, referrals to relevant authorities, and understanding legal rights and protections.
4. Mentorship Program
We mentor children, adolescents, and young people by providing guidance, life skills, leadership development, career support, and positive role models to help them make informed decisions and reach their full potential.
5. Counseling Services
We offer psychosocial support, counseling, and trauma-informed care to children, survivors of abuse, and families. Our counseling services promote healing, recovery, emotional well-being, and resilience.
